Evaluate The Obstacles In Your Life

We need to evaluate the obstacles in our lives that are preventing us to pursue our dreams.  Some of them are:
  • I am too young
  • I am too old
  • I am physically handicapped
  • I do not have the money
  • I do not have the time
  • I do not have the energy
  • I am not intelligent enough
  • I am not creative enough
  • I am too shy
  • I am not attractive
  • I do not know the right people
  • It is too hard to change at this stage in my life.
God has the ability to turn things around for us, so get out of the boat, visualized your goal and make a step towards it.  Through the power of God your obstacles can become opportunities and your stumbling stones can become your stepping stones.

I Look To You, Dear Lord

You are my hope, the Lord of my life.  I wait on You and move cautiously in my decisions.  I am not ashamed to trust in Your guidance, Lord.  Instead I feel thankful for the trust in You.  I am filled with peace.  Throughout the day my thoughts often turn to You for direction and strength.  In quiet and confidence I find the strength only You can give. You, dear Father, are my Rock and my defender; I shall not fear.  I know I believe, and I am persuaded that You keep me close to You day by day. Laying Crowns At Jesus' Feet

Revelation 3:11, "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."It is possible to earn a crown and then to lose it again.  Wouldn't that be a terrible tragedy? May God grant that it will not happen to us.  John 19:5 tells us of a mock coronation when they crowned the Lord Jesus with a cruel crown of thorns.  What a demonstration of the depravity of fallen man.  In Revelation 4:10-11, the elders take their crowns and give them to Jesus saying, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power."  I want to have crowns to lay at His feet at that time.  O the utter shame of a Christian who does  not have at least one crown to lay at His feet.  He wins the crown for us as we yield to Him.  The crown is rightly His, for He has won.  I desire to be able to lay many crowns at His blessed feet.
