Daily Word and Insight

Oh God my Father, we need to hear from you.  We need a Word from you.  If we do not hear from you, then what will we do?  You spoke to Moses, you spoke to Abraham, so speak to us dear God.  We are living in a world that is filled with hatred, violence and crime and to make matters worse, we are striving to survive in a global recession.  So it is just us again Lord.  We have a problem that we cannot solve, we do not mean to worry you, but here we are with something new,  we need help that will only come from you Lord, so hear us Lord, we beseech.  People are losing their family, their jobs, their homes, their minds, and their sanctity.  Provide for us and our families, we pray.  Grant that no bitterness of mind may blot out our love for you.  Be unto us a strong wall, shelter us in these days as we reach out to you.  Open up the roads of blessing to us.  Give us faith, hope and love.  We wait upon you Lord through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

The Greatest Man in History Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him.. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. I feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us! IN CHEMISTRY, HE TURNED WATER TO WINE. IN BIOLOGY, HE WAS BORN WITHOUT THE NORMAL CONCEPTION; IN PHYSICS, HE DISAPPROVED THE LAW OF GRAVITY WHEN HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN; IN ECONOMICS, HE DISAPPROVED THE LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURNS BY FEEDING 5000 MEN WITH TWO FISHES & FIVE LOAVES OF BREAD; IN MEDICINE, HE CURED THE SICK AND THE BLIND WITHOUT ADMINISTERING A SINGLE DOSE OF DRUGS, IN HISTORY, HE IS THE BEGINNING AND THE END; IN GOVERNMENT, HE SAID THAT HE SHALL BE CALLED WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, PRINCE OF PEACE; IN RELIGION, HE SAID NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT

Dear God, through your Son Jesus Christ,  you have shown and taught us how to pray.   You have also shown and taught us how  to heal.  You have promised that we shall  do great things in your name, through the  power of your Holy Spirit.  So right now God,  break down all the barriers between us, beak  down all the obstacles  that hinder healing and  release the power of your Holy Spirit to flow  through our hands, for your name's sake.  Amen. Hallelujah! Glory! Praise Your name God!

It happens when you meet Jesus Christ and ask him to take over your life.  Only Christ can take a heart that's been filled with fear, anger, bitterness, and hurt and liberate it with his mercy. But to treat people mercifully, you first have to learn to treat yourself with mercy. Accept yourself as Christ accepts you—just as you are! If you lack a deep inner sense of self-worth, you will constantly have problems with other people. You will be unkind, critical, and gossip.  You'll lash back. And eventually you will  undermine the most important aspects of  your life and it will collapse all around you. Follow Christ's example. Be merciful and  God will step in and show you mercy, too.
