Another Earthquake?
Another earthquake again? This time in Taiwan. When will it end? the question is being asked by many. Who will be next? "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows" (Matt. 24:6-8, KJV). The continuing calamities listed in these verses do send a message to us today. They are reminders that we live in a fallen world still awaiting a final redemption (see Rom. 8:19-23), a world in which there are always people who need our help. They are invitations to pray, to seek God in repentance and in intercession for others. Children, now is the time to go to the altar and pray.
