Moses wanted to see God, As a matter of fact, he longed to see God.  He pleaded in Exodus 33:18, "please let me see the dazzling light of your presence."  However, God told him that this could not be because no sinful mortal could look upon His face and live.  Anyway, to appease his longing a little, God hid Moses in a cleft of the rock and covered him with His hands as he passed by.  Exodus 34:5-7 revealed that, The Lord came down in a cloud, stood with him there, and pronounced His holy name, the Lord. The Lord then  passed in front of him and called out, "I, the Lord, am a God who is full of compassion and pity, who is not easily angered and who shows great love and faithfulness.  I keep my promise for thousands of generations and forgive evil and sin; but I will not fail to punish children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation for the sins of their parents."  Therefore, the God of my Bible is, by His own declaration, merciful, gracious, longsuffe

Who has the right to go up the Lord's hill?  who may enter His holy temple?  Those who are pure in act and in thought, who do not worship idols or make false promises (Psalm 24:3-4). The only way to avoid spiritual decay and spiritual death in our lives today is by progress and to progress we need a revival.  This brings to mind a chorus many of us love to sing, "I want a revival in my soul, I want a revival in my soul.  I must apply to the blood of Jesus to get a revival in my soul. From Psalm 24:3-4, we learn that a revival will affect three things: Hands:     These must be clean, they represent our actions. Heart:      This must be pure.  The heart represent our feelings. Tongue:   It must not be deceitful, but it must be honest because it represents our speech. When all three are revived: our actions, our feeling, and our speech, then the christian will overcome Satan by taking back what He had stolen from him or her by coming  back to life.  Also he or she will retu
