Be Revived Today.

Who has the right to go up the Lord's hill?  who may enter His holy temple?  Those who are pure in act and in thought, who do not worship idols or make false promises (Psalm 24:3-4).
The only way to avoid spiritual decay and spiritual death in our lives today is by progress and to progress we need a revival.  This brings to mind a chorus many of us love to sing, "I want a revival in my soul, I want a revival in my soul.  I must apply to the blood of Jesus to get a revival in my soul.
From Psalm 24:3-4, we learn that a revival will affect three things:
  • Hands:     These must be clean, they represent our actions.
  • Heart:      This must be pure.  The heart represent our feelings.
  • Tongue:   It must not be deceitful, but it must be honest because it represents our speech.
When all three are revived: our actions, our feeling, and our speech, then the christian will overcome Satan by taking back what He had stolen from him or her by coming  back to life.  Also he or she will return to a state of consciousness  and to a state vigor from a state of neglect.
Are you dead spiritually?  There is a river that flows from deep within.  There is a fountain that keeps the soul from sin  Come to this water, there is a vast supply.  There is a river that never shall run dry

That day when they crucified my Saviour, He was willing to pay all the cost.  When they drove the nails through His body, they were nailing my sins to His cross. I Look To You, Dear Lord

You are my hope, the Lord of my life.  I wait on You and move cautiously in my decisions.  I am not ashamed to trust in Your guidance, Lord.  Instead I feel thankful for the trust in You.  I am filled with peace.  Throughout the day my thoughts often turn to You for direction and strength.  In quiet and confidence I find the strength only You can give. You, dear Father, are my Rock and my defender; I shall not fear.  I know I believe, and I am persuaded that You keep me close to You day by day. Laying Crowns At Jesus' Feet

Revelation 3:11, "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."It is possible to earn a crown and then to lose it again.  Wouldn't that be a terrible tragedy? May God grant that it will not happen to us.  John 19:5 tells us of a mock coronation when they crowned the Lord Jesus with a cruel crown of thorns.  What a demonstration of the depravity of fallen man.  In Revelation 4:10-11, the elders take their crowns and give them to Jesus saying, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power."  I want to have crowns to lay at His feet at that time.  O the utter shame of a Christian who does  not have at least one crown to lay at His feet.  He wins the crown for us as we yield to Him.  The crown is rightly His, for He has won.  I desire to be able to lay many crowns at His blessed feet.
