Today's Reading: A Peace Of Mind

In this global
economic crisis,
a peace of mind
has become very
important. Yes
my readers, in
these trying and
perilous times,
a peace of mind
is very crucial. To get a peace of mind,
many visit psychiatrists, fortune tellers and
many spend a lot of money on tranquilizers
and pain killers. There are those who have
killed others, then kill themselves to
escape their consciences.

Many drowned themselves to chain
smoke to soothe their nerves, some lost
themselves in the bottles. Yet still, they
elude the peace that they seek. However,
the remedy is found in Isaiah 26:3-4:
"You Lord, give perfect peace to those
who keep their purpose firm and put
their trust in You. Trust in the Lord
forever; He will always protect us."
Peace is to be found in God because
He is more durable than the mountains,
the hills and valleys, the husbands
and wives, the children, the brothers
and sisters, the friends. My God is
is never affected by the forces that
will change others. Trust Him today
my friends. Trust Him for a peace of
mind. God bless you and I love
you with the love of the Lord. Peace!

I Look To You, Dear Lord

You are my hope, the Lord of my life.  I wait on You and move cautiously in my decisions.  I am not ashamed to trust in Your guidance, Lord.  Instead I feel thankful for the trust in You.  I am filled with peace.  Throughout the day my thoughts often turn to You for direction and strength.  In quiet and confidence I find the strength only You can give. You, dear Father, are my Rock and my defender; I shall not fear.  I know I believe, and I am persuaded that You keep me close to You day by day. Laying Crowns At Jesus' Feet

Revelation 3:11, "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."It is possible to earn a crown and then to lose it again.  Wouldn't that be a terrible tragedy? May God grant that it will not happen to us.  John 19:5 tells us of a mock coronation when they crowned the Lord Jesus with a cruel crown of thorns.  What a demonstration of the depravity of fallen man.  In Revelation 4:10-11, the elders take their crowns and give them to Jesus saying, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power."  I want to have crowns to lay at His feet at that time.  O the utter shame of a Christian who does  not have at least one crown to lay at His feet.  He wins the crown for us as we yield to Him.  The crown is rightly His, for He has won.  I desire to be able to lay many crowns at His blessed feet.
