Do Not Support Xmas

I do not purchase nor do I take part in any function that promote Xmas instead of Christmas. Though it is one word, in reality it should be Christ's Mass, which is a coming together of people to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.  There are Xmas cards, Xmas parties and people wishing each other Merry Xmas.  This is a blatant disregard of the real meaning of Christmas and we know it is a plan of the old devil for the world to X Jesus out, but we want old Lucifer to know that He is a defeated foe and no matter what he tries to do, Jesus has the key of death and hell.
X-ing Jesus out of Christmas is like X-ing out a foundation from a building and how can a building stand without a foundation?  So how can Christmas stand without Jesus?  He is the reason for Christmas, so why are we leaving Him out?  This is a plan of Satan to steer people's minds away from the true meaning of Christmas, and that is, Christ was born to save all men from their sins.  So join with me to celebrate Christmas and not Xmas, making sure that Jesus stays in Christmas.  Have a Merry Christmas everybody.

I Look To You, Dear Lord

You are my hope, the Lord of my life.  I wait on You and move cautiously in my decisions.  I am not ashamed to trust in Your guidance, Lord.  Instead I feel thankful for the trust in You.  I am filled with peace.  Throughout the day my thoughts often turn to You for direction and strength.  In quiet and confidence I find the strength only You can give. You, dear Father, are my Rock and my defender; I shall not fear.  I know I believe, and I am persuaded that You keep me close to You day by day. Laying Crowns At Jesus' Feet

Revelation 3:11, "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."It is possible to earn a crown and then to lose it again.  Wouldn't that be a terrible tragedy? May God grant that it will not happen to us.  John 19:5 tells us of a mock coronation when they crowned the Lord Jesus with a cruel crown of thorns.  What a demonstration of the depravity of fallen man.  In Revelation 4:10-11, the elders take their crowns and give them to Jesus saying, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power."  I want to have crowns to lay at His feet at that time.  O the utter shame of a Christian who does  not have at least one crown to lay at His feet.  He wins the crown for us as we yield to Him.  The crown is rightly His, for He has won.  I desire to be able to lay many crowns at His blessed feet.
