I remembered the first time I met Wayne.  He was 9 years old, but his attitude and speech far exceeds that of a child. He was very authoritative, giving command and instructions to his peers who failed to realize that they were of the same age group, so they asked no questions but to follow his advise. He taught many of them how to ride a bicycle. When he was among adults, it was not strange to hear him giving his thoughts on  political matters. He had an uncanny ability to fix his mother's appliances when they broke. His dream was to become a Scientist:  But this was not to be.  His mother and father took him to an open air service I had in my community.  At the end of the service, his mother led him to the altar.  He was just a child, yet he was suffering from cancer in the right ear.  Wayne stood tall as we prayed for him.  That was the beginning of a relationship between us as I constantly visited him from that night on. A four-year-old child was asking her father about God. "Daddy, God made the heavens and earth, didn't He?' "Yes, my dear." "Then, He made the flower in that flower pot, didn't He?" "Yes!" "Well, that means He got His hands dirty."  Yes. God was willing to get His hands dirty to be a friend of sinners.  It seems logical to say that holiness and perfection might shun impurity and imperfection, but not so to Christ.  In biblical times, sinners were somewhat outcasts of the prevailing religious culture.  They were shunned, sometimes exploited for gain. There was no place for them at the tables of the rich and pious.  They had few friends other than those of their kind.  Jesus came to save sinners, and even today there are only two kinds of persons: sinners and sinners saved by the grace of a good, loving, and redeeming Saviour.  He shuns them not.  He wants to make them whole.  That is His mission. Dear God, I pray for all those who continue to visit this site for encouragement and strength. I pray that you will grant them the desires of their heart, once those desires are in favour with your rules and guidelines.  We are living in a mad world, a world that has no boundaries when it comes sin and immorality.  Sometimes we are confused and do not know which way to go or turn to;  But in the name of Jesus, our soon coming King, give guidance and shelter to my followers.  To those who are  sick, I claim healing now.  To those who are pressed down by the cares of this world, I claim deliverance now.  To those who do not know where their next meal is coming from, this moment provide their daily meal, as we continue to claim your Words, "Give us this day our daily bread." To those who are anxious about tomorrow, debts to be paid, mortgages and car payments settlements are logging behind, utility bills are on hold, I place them all in your hands dear ...

Here is God's crowning blessing.  In addition to every other good thing, He offers us His Company.  It is hard to understand why the omnipotent Creator would want to associate with such lowly creatures, but the fact remains that He does.  He said if you walk in my statues and observe my commandments and do them, I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be my people. (Leviticus 26:3, 12).  This is a wonderful offer.  If you walk, then I will walk.  In other words, If you want to go along with Me, I will go along with you.  It was a gracious invitation to walk together and it is still a gracious invitation to all.  Why not walk with God today? Like all God's offers and promises, it was not made to Israel alone.  It was open to all.  Anyone who loved God enough to want to walk with Him could do so.  It is written that Enoch walked with God, Noah walked with God, Abraham walked with God, Moses walked with God, Joshua walke...

O God, our Father Heavenly Father, we join today in thanking you with all those who have been restored again to better health.  We thank you for faith and patience granted to us.  We thank you for healing, in body, mind and spirit; for the possibility of prayer and the comfort of the Bible.  Thank you Lord for sins forgiven and pardon assured; and through it all, for your unfailing presence.  We give you thanks and praise, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

This is powerful!  You got out of a bad relationship  because it was bad, but you are still resentful and angry (you let the devil leave his bags).
