Victoria Osteen Life can get so busy at times.  It’s easy to get wrapped up in  everything we have to do,  plowing through the day and  checking off our  “to do” lists. But if we are going to have the strong  and healthy relationships God desires for us, it’s  important that we take time and think of ways to keep the connections strong with our friends  and family. One thing I’ve learned is that showing respect  to one another is one way to keep our  connection strong. Now, we don’t always  agree on everything, but because we value  and respect one another, sometimes we just  agree to disagree. We give each other space  to be individuals, and we respect our differences  as much as we value our similarities. God in Heaven, don't take away the  "stormy weather" of my life, but give  me the strength to overcome one day at a time so that I can exit each  trial victoriously. Allow me to experience  your joy as you erase the painful hurts and fears of past memories and  replace them with the beauty of Your  healing power and peace. My confidence is in You alone. Heavenly Father, with the state of the economy and the unemployment rate, it is very easy to worry. Although our economy is in a recession, help us to remember that the birds still woke up each and every morning and sing their songs. They do not fall off their branches in unbelief and start flying around here and there worrying, stopping their song, but they continue to sing. We are worth much more than the birds, so take away anxiousness Lord. We believe that you will provide for your children: Because if you clothe the grass of the field, we know you will surely clothe us. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

In this global economic crisis, a peace of mind has become very important. Yes my readers, in these trying and perilous times, a peace of mind is very crucial. To get a peace of mind, many visit psychiatrists, fortune tellers and many spend a lot of money on tranquilizers and pain killers. There are those who have killed others, then kill themselves to escape their consciences. Many drowned themselves to chain smoke to soothe their nerves, some lost themselves in the bottles. Yet still, they elude the peace that they seek. However, the remedy is found in Isaiah 26:3-4: "You Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever; He will always protect us." Peace is to be found in God because He is more durable than the mountains, the hills and valleys, the husbands and wives, the children, the brothers and sisters, the friends.
